I'm a firm believer in "variety is the spice of life" and you should not put all your eggs in one basket by pursuing and focusing all your efforts on one woman.

Successful online dating stories

If you are looking for a permanent girlfriend, then fine, go for it! But, you can have a lot more romance and fun by pursuing casual, short-term relationships with a variety of single women.

Another advantage to having multiple relationships going on at the same time is that you will always have a back-up. If one relationship fizzles out, then you've always got another woman waiting in the wings. Plus, you have the luxury of dropping the women that are not working out, knowing that you have other single women to take their place.

Let me tell you about a disadvantage of being tied up with just one exclusive girlfriend. You will start ignoring other single women and golden opportunities that come up to score with women. It's your choice though, if you want to be devoted to one person only, then go ahead. I sure can't stop you.

There's another thing that will help you in your pursuit of scoring with single women when you already have some casual relationships going on on the side. You feel a lot more relaxed when you are approaching women. If a woman rejects your advances, it's no big deal because you know there are more fish in the sea and you already have a harem of girls.

Plus your attitude of being relaxed and feeling no pressure will attract single women like a magnet. Why? Because single women are very attracted to men who are confident and sure of themselves.

This is very easy. Most guys today, I'm sorry to say have no idea how to treat a woman. They treat girls like a piece of garbage or they act like a doormat to beautiful women and let these women walk all over them. You cannot be a rotten no good, but you cannot be a doormat either. Once you start dating girls, treat them with respect. Treat them like you'd like another guy to treat your mother or sister.

How to make a girl like you?

Do not make a pass at a girl on the first date. She'll think you're different from most men and will want to go out with you again. Act romantic, not sex crazed. Hold her hand in the movie, open the door for her, and be polite. Act like she's precious and sweet. When you bring her home, give her a good night kiss at the door and say "I'll call you sometime." She'll be amazed at being treated like a lady.

When you take her out again, still treat her like a lady. Women are dying for romance today and the guy who knows how to provide it is a rare find. She'll let you know when she wants sex. Do not force her. Be patient. Before long she'll fall in love with you because you're a man who treats her with respect. Believe me, even a prostitute likes to be treated like a lady.

How to make a girl fall in love with you?

Tell her she is pretty and that she's nice to be with. Women love compliments. Do not ever flirt with other women when you're on a date. The girl you're with should get all your attention. But do not be a doormat either. If she flirts with a lot of men or talks about all her boyfriends, don't take her out again. If you treat her with respect she should treat you with respect.

Before long you'll have so many girls wanting to go out with you, you want have time for them all. Won't that be nice?

Also, never lead a girl on. If she tells you she is in love with you and you don't feel the same way, be honest with her. Always be honest. Women will appreciate it.

Now the most important piece of advice I can give you on women. If you can accomplish this nearly every woman you meet will fall in love with you. Always be a friend with the woman you go out with. Let her relax with you, and before long you'll become one of the most likeable guys around. All women will like you. The girls you go out with will brag to their girlfriends. Girls will be begging you to go out with them because they know you know how to treat a woman. When a woman is asked why she is deeply in love with her husband or boyfriend, she usually replies, "He is my best friend."

It is usually a boy who begins seducing a girl he is sweet on, but the other way round too can be as interesting. Seducing is like an art. The more you practice, the more you improve on it. Seducing encompasses doing things that will make the target of your attention become aware of your romantic feelings and reciprocate. While there are different methods in which a girl can express her lovey-dovey feelings to a guy, the basic ingredients required are pleasing mannerisms, spunk and a good sense of humor. In this article, we will discuss ways in which a girl can successfully seduce her guy or boyfriend.

Tips for Seducing a Guy

* Remember that you have to like yourself first even before you expect your man to like you. So, do things that will pep up your self-confidence like dress up smartly, get a new haircut, lose weight, etc. Then make a move on him.
* Whenever you speak to your love, use a very seductive tone of voice. The voice tenor should be throaty and soft, but not too nasal or high.
* Don attires that are trendy and reveal enough skin to make your man want to see more. But try not to overdo it.
* Nothing can please a guy more than the fact that his girl can dance beautifully. If you are not a dancing diva, then taking up dance classes can help to some extent.
* Walk gracefully and confidently. Maintain an impressive posture even when you are standing still or seated.
* Before proposing him directly, drop little hints to see if he is interested in you. Most men find attention from a woman quite gratifying.
* The best way to seduce a guy is by flirting with him. Look into his guy’s eyes lovingly, let that smile on your lips linger a little longer and give smart repartees to pep things up between you two.
* Leave him alone sometimes. Let him miss your company. It will also give him time to ponder over the blossoming relationship or get over past misgivings about an ex-lover.
* Remember not to reveal too much information about yourself too soon because that will just make him lose interest in you.
* Touch him, perhaps on the hand or wrist. This will subtly demonstrate that you are interested.
* SMS him romantic quotes, flirty jokes or invite him out for a date.
Speak to him and let him know that you like him. Men like to hear that they are wanted just as much as girls do.
* Whether, you wish to take things to the next level, now depends entirely on you. If you feel that he is regarding you as a conquest, then tell him that and leave. This could make him genuinely fall in love with you.

On January 15, the Asia Model Festival Awards were held at Seoul’s COEX Convention Hall. The event took “Asia is One” as its slogan, probably to explain a few of the awards handed to (pan-)Asian actors (read: non-Korean) like Joe Cheng and Hayashi Tantan.

I’m not really sure about how they decided on the winners, which include both actors and models, but as with so many of these events, it’s not so much about the relevance as it is about the pretty.

Winners List

Asia Star Award (Korea): Song Il-kook, Wonder Girls
Asia Star Award (International): Lin Chi-ling, Hayashi Tantan
Special Asia Star Award: Joe Cheng

Popular Star Award: Park Hae-jin, Lee Da-hae
Popular Singer Award: Kim Jong-kook, Baek Ji-young, Brown Eyed Girls
Model Star Award: Oh Ji-ho, Han Ji-hye
Special Model Award: Kim Jae-wook, Yoon So-yi, Seo In-young

Fashion Model Award: Kim Young-kwang, Kim Da-eul
CF Model Award: Lee Kwang-soo, Oh Yeon-seo
2009 Racing Model Award: Gu Ji-sung
2009 Racing Model Popularity Award: Lee Su-jin
Rookie Model Award: Ahn Jae-hyun, Im Ji-eun
International Cultural Exchange Award: Andre Kim

Asia Star Award (Korea) winner Song Il-kook (Kingdom of the Wind). I don’t see what the point is when a Korean awards show takes particular effort to make an “Asian” (as in, pan-Asian) award, then divide it up between “Korean” and “International” winners. Hello, redundancy?

Taiwanese supermodel Lin Chi-ling was given an Asia Star Award (International):

Young Japanese actress Hayashi Tantan also received an Asia Star Award (International):

Joe Cheng was given a Special Asia Star Award. He is wearing what appears to be a furry vest OVER a formal suit.

Yes, the front view of Lee Da-hae, winning the popularity award with her East of Eden co-star Park Hae-jin, is very pretty:
But it’s the back of the summery yellow frock that really makes the look. Love the color, love the crisscrossing ribbons, and she looks beautiful in it.

Three artists won the Popular Singer Award. First, Kim Jong-kook in his suit of armor (seriously, that thing looks suffocating):

Second, Baek Ji-young, who I think looks fantastic and casually elegant with that dress and loosely pulled-back hair.

And third, Brown Eyed Girls. Yikes, those are some short skirts. I didn’t think it was possible to take the Fashion Blight That Will Not Die (i.e., leggings) and make them any tackier, but there you go — pleather!

Model Star Award winner Han Ji-hye (East of Eden) has been really rocking the awards and red carpets in the past year, hasn’t she? That said, I wonder if MBC paid off the awards committee to hype up its Eden actors…

Oh Ji-ho (Single Papa in Love) took the other Model Star Award. Not sure what makes him a “model star,” but he looks good.

Special Model Award recipient (one of three) Kim Jae-wook (Coffee Prince) is dressed almost the same as Oh Ji-ho above, but he wears his suit with panache. I’m digging the casual open neck. Now if only he would straighten up his posture.

Flower boy power

Lee Min-ho, Lee Min-ho, Lee Min-ho.

Everywhere you look right now, everyone’s talking about Lee Min-ho. And for good reason, since the formerly little-known actor has experienced a meteoric rise in visibility — and popularity — since last week, headlining KBS’s newest smash success, Boys Before Flowers.

The newfound attention has turned up pictures that show Lee Min-ho with another rising “flower boy” (i.e., pretty boy), Jung Il-woo. Actually, the pictures aren’t new and the friendship isn’t a secret — the two were high school classmates — but Lee Min-ho just wasn’t famous enough for it to be interesting until now.

The two friends will both be heading dramas simultaneously, too, when Jung Il-woo’s Return of Iljimae starts up next week. (They won’t be battling timeslots though; Lee’s on a Monday-Tuesday series while Jung’s is Wednesday-Thursday.)

Apparently, Lee had also been scheduled to make an appearance on the 2006-07 MBC sitcom Unstoppable High Kick (the show that shot Jung to stardom), but couldn’t after he was in a car accident.

As for Boys Before Flowers, despite some glaring flaws and criticism for overuse of CG, the drama seems (in my opinion) to owe much of its appeal to Lee, who is earning the lion’s share of the positive feedback. Say what you will about its problems, you can’t deny its popularity.

The drama also looks like it may be able to finally topple East of Eden from the top ratings spot, or at least prevent it from reaching 30%. Eden has dominated Mondays and Tuesdays for months, but now its numbers are starting to decrease while Boys‘ numbers are rising. At last count, Eden’s episode 40 pulled in a 28.4%, while Boys‘ episode 4 scored a 21.4%. Even Boys‘ reruns are producing double-digit ratings — for instance, re-broadcasts of episodes 1 and 2 pulled in a 10.1% and a 15.1%. (For comparison, Eden’s reruns in the same slot were a 4.6% and a 8.9%.)

Yoon Eun-hye (Coffee Prince) is designing clothing.

She’s modeled fashions for clothing brand Joinus in the past, but now she’s taking an active step to design her own line, titled the self-explanatory ”Yoon Eun-hye for Joinus” — the first time that a brand model has designed for the company as well.

The items Yoon has designed include blouses, skirts, jackets, and the like, which feature “modern and simple silhouettes” and “feminine details” that emphasize a “chic, ladylike feel.” They’ll be sold as part of Joinus’ spring catalog, and officially come out on February 20.

Yoon’s interest in artistic pursuits is well-known; not only does she have artistic hobbies, but she’s been known to add personal flourishes to her drama sets and help with set/prop decoration. On the other hand, how much does natural interest and modeling experience prepare one for actually designing? I’m sure the line will sell prodigious amounts of product due to Yoon’s name, but I’d be curious to know just what she contributed.

Actress Go Ara (Who Are You) has just come out with her newest Star Photo spread, titled “Amor,” which was shot in Spain. The photos were released for distribution via telecom services on the 15th.

The photos below (minus the first, which is part of the Amor spread) show the actress at the official unveiling on the 16th.

Sunday January 18, 2009 Korea

The cute and bubbly So Nyuh Shi Dae’s (Yoona, Sooyoung, Hyuyeon, Yuri, Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny, Seohyun) comeback has been welcomed like a panacea. If you have listened to their album, it’s fun and fresh as if spring has already started.

They have come back after 9 months 14 months since their have an album with new songs. The new album, as expected, has been a hot issue. The title song, “Gee” is a fast paced dance song about a girl that does not know what to do when she experiences her first love.

The repeating chorus, “Gee Gee Gee Gee Be Be Be Be” contains the freshness and longing of a first love and is ripe for becoming addicted. Along with their comeback, they have been sweeping online and offline music charts, and on their first performance on the 10th, they showed off a “crab leg” dance in colorful skinny jeans which showed off a doll-esque charm. The dance where they spell out the English letter “G” is also popular.

The nine girls who said that coming back [after such a long time] feels like debuting again, stated that, “we wish everyone will gain strength from listening to our songs.”

-Comeback, and Music
>There seems to be one member one missing

(Jessica) Taeyeon has a cold so she couldn’t come to the interview. She’s not very sick, but she needs rest. Aso you can see, the other members are very healthy. Since we all eat well and are strong, you don’t have to worry.

>The response to the title song “Gee” is very hot

(Sooyoung) It’s an addicting song. It has an exciting melody and you start moving to the rhythm just by listening to it. “Gee” is an expression that Americans use often. It has a similar meaning to “omona” or “kkamjjakiya”. Koreans think that Americans use “oh my god” a lot, but “gee” is used just as often. This song was written by E-tribe, the same person that wrote Hyori unni’s “You Go Girl”.

>Along with the title song, “Himnae”, “Let’s talk about LOVE” and other songs are about giving people energy and not giving up. Is there a particular reason why?

(Tiffany) The economy isn’t good right now and there are a lot of people that are having a hard time. People with jobs are probably really stressed, so we want all the unnis and oppas to gain strength through our songs.

>As So Nyuh Shi Dae you still feel the impacts of the declining economy. Where do you see it the most?

(Tiffany) I visited America to see my parents, and when I went to exchange currency, I was surprised. The economy is really in a slump. Even during Christmas and New Years times, it feels different than before.

>There hare probably many people who are heartened by So Nyuh Shi Dae’s music, but when So Nyuh Shi Dae is down, who do you go to?

(Yuri) Strangely, when we talk with other members, we feel better and we figure out solutions quickly. We gossip and confide with each other and gain strength from each other.

(Sooyoung) In my case I just cry. Our apartment is right next to the Han River, so I go out to walk and listen to sad music.

(Hyoyeon) I don’t cry, but I go to the Han River and exercise. Then it feels better.

(Jessica) I keep listening to music. What music I listen to changes from day to day, but I usually keep quiet and listen to music.

(Yoona) I like riding buses. I ride on buses alone or walk around Apgujeong alone.

>I seems like you are more feminine now. Normally girl groups have an “image” change when releasing a new album, have you had the desire to come out with a sexy or boyish concept?

(Hyoyeon. Seohyun. Sooyoung) After getting a year older, we hear that we have become a lot more feminine. The fans are witnessing our transformation from sonyuhs to sookhyuhs (girl to woman). Looking your age is the prettiest. A sexy concept wouldn’t fit us. Being called sexy is still awkward and unfamiliar. Before we wore hoodies, t-shirts and school look fashions a lot, but in this album we wear a lot of tight fitting skinny jeans. Hopefully you’ll see a little of our feminine charm and sexiness. (laughs)

-Normally, fans… So Nyuh Shi Dae
>You must have to constantly think about your diet to wear skinny jeans.

(Sooyoung. Yoona) Well we have no choice but to pay attention to our diet. The group image can’t be tainted by just me. But normal students seem to pay attention to their looks more than us, haha!

>You have a lot of male fans, but you especially have a lot of 40~50 year old ahjussi fans. Is it pressuring at all? (laughs)

It might be that there is that sense of fantasy of a sonyuh (girl). Just think of us as cute.

>You also have a lot of female fans right? What do they like about you?

(Sooyoung) We have more female fans than expected. I think they think of us as friendly, younger sisters.

>After the new album released, who cheered you on the most?

Obviously there are our families and SM family, but Lee Seungchul sunbaenim also cheered us on a lot. We met him at a broadcasting station not too long ago and he said that, “your song is good, work hard,” and greeted us warmly. Comedian Kim Shinyoung unni always give us support, and Lee Yeonhee unni also monitors us closely. Also, our friend from when we were younger, Park Minyoung unni is a fan of So Nyuh Shi Dae. She says she listens to So Nyuh Shi Dae songs all the time.

>You can’t leave out “Figure star” Kim YunA from the list of So Nyuh Shi Dae supporters right?

(So Nyuh Shi Dae) All of the members are huge fans of Kim YunA, and we keep track of her competitions. If we meet, we feel that there will be a sense of familiarity. We want to meet her.

>Are you getting tired of living together in an apartment?

Even now we travel around, go to church, visit our parents, and go out to eat, so we have a lot of freedom. There isn’t really much that is uncomfortable right now.

>After becoming famous have you gone out alone in disguise?

(So Nyuh Shi Dae) Everybody has at least done it once. There are set items prepared when we go out. If we wear that, people don’t recognize us that much. If we go out and look at someone that’s disguised, it sometimes ends up being one of our members. (laughs)

>Yoona and Sooyoung are now going to college… what are the plans?

(Yoona) Even if it’s for just an hour, I want to work hard at that one class. I want to mungle normally with my classmates and seniors. Since it is a college where a lot of celebrities attend I feel that people won’t pay any more attention to me, so I want to go to an MT.

(Sooyoung) I would like nothing more than to attend school like any other student, but what I want to do the most is join a club. I’m worried that they might consider me as a celebrity before a student. It might just be baseless worries, but I want to try my hardest in college.

>How do you spend your free time? What’s the most recent movie you watched?

(So Nyuh Shi Dae) It’s been a long time since we’ve watched a movie. All our members watched “Soonjung Manhwa” which featured Sooyoung. Oh, there are a couple members that watched, “gwasok (speeding?) Scandal”. Members who have similar free times go to the theaters together. We also download movies to watch during travel time. All the members enjoyed the drama, “The world they live in”. Although the viewer rating wasn’t that good, it’s a drama that you can get drawn into. As for variety shows, we watch past shows over and over. But all in all, the programs we pay the most attention to are the music programs.

(Jessica) I watch the cable channel “On Style” a lot because there are a lot of fun reality shows and fashion programs.

-Anticipation, Idol, 20s and Dreams
>Taeyeon isn’t here right now, but which couple do you like the most from WGM?

the ant couple. It was so fun. It was enjoyable to watch because you can see each couple’s charms.

>Is there another person that you feel would match Taeyeon better than Jung Hyungdon?

No. At first we were like, “congratu-lations?” but since’s he’s a fun person, we think he fits. He treats us nicely when we see him at broadcasting stations.

>What do you think you’ll do if a scandal comes up?

(So Nyuh Shi Dae) We won’t really react to any kind of scandal that comes up. We laugh together and move on. This kind of question is a first. It’s fresh. We never really had to think of that. If it were true, we might be more forward about it. When we get to that age and that situation, there are a lot of rumors. You know when some story about some celebrity seeing another celebrity… we haven’t thought of coming out in a scandal before.

>I’m curious about each member’s idol (perfect guy)

(Yoona) A kind, caring, and warm person
(Sunny) A very nice person
(Hyoyeon) I like a person who is tall and has a good sense of humor
(Seohyun) A smart, well-mannered, proper person
(Yuri) A caring and well-mannered person
(Sooyoung) Someone who is avid about his work
(Jessica) Someone like Daniel Henney (laughs)

>Who is a sunbae that you respect?

(members) BoA sunbaenim!!!

(Yuri. Sooyoung) Also, we experienced a lot when we went to Lee Hyori unni’s year end concert. After singing songs together from 10 years ago such as “Ruby” and “Eternal Love” and crying; and holding each other and saying, “I really wanted to see you,” really touched us. Especially when Hyori unni said that, “[I] am happy to have spent time in my 20s with you when I was young and carefree,” made us teary eyed. It was a moment where we thought about our future, and we thought that it would be nice to be like that later on.

>You must have been asked the question about your “rivals” the Wonder Girls a lot

(Sooyoung) Some members are really close to the Wonder Girls. We enjoy listening to Wonder Girls’ songs, and we really cheered them on when they were doing well. It also motivated us to try harder as well.

>Do you ever get jealous when one member gets the spotlight before others?

We believe that members can’t have the same amount of popularity. Of course certain members are loved more, and there will be times when certain members get the spotlight first. We as member are actually more thankful for Yoona and Taeyeon because a wide range of ages get to know about So Nyuh Shi Dae. We truly root for them, as if [I] personally am doing well. If one member shines, then all of So Nyuh Shi Dae shines as well. After living together for a couple years even out speech patterns and eating habits are becoming similar. We are like real sisters.

>There are members who have turned 20 this year, how do you want to spend you 20s?

(Yoona) I want this to be a time where I mature internally
(Sooyoung) There are a lot of things I regret as a teenager. “I should have skipped practice and gone on that class trip.” Those kinds of regrets come up, so in my 20s, I want to fall in love, cry because of a breakup, and win awards. I also want to travel a lot so when 29 comes around I want to feel that I’ve tried most things in life.
(Hyoyeon) I want to accomplish what I’ve been dreaming of. I’ve dreamt of dancing and learning more dancing outside of korea and having my skills acknowledged.
(Yuri) I want to live my 20s so that in 10 years I can hear people say, “I want to be like So Nyuh Shi Dae unnis”
(Sunny) I want to have some time to prepare for my future. I want to experience a lot and go up against things that I might fail at
(Tiffany) I want my 20s to be like coffee. Where there are sweet as well as bitter times… I also want to show people that I am addicted to music all through my 20s
(So Nyuh Shi Dae) All of our members want to fall in love during our 20s (all members agree)

"trust you" goes on sale March 4. The song will be used on the show starting on January 18.

According to reports from Taiwan's Apple Daily, did Kelly Lin (林熙蕾) have a wedding party in Tokyo for her and Ken Zhu (朱孝天) yesterday night? Most of the people invited kept their mouth shut, but her good friend, jewellery designer Cindy brought a 3 carat butterfly diamond ring with her to Tokyo, as a gift to Kelly. It is rumoured that it was an engagement ring. One of Kelly's best friends, Wang Yu Wen (王渝文) called Kelly in Japan and asked: "Why didn't you invite me to your wedding? If you dare to not invite me, I'll be angry!" To this matter, Yu Wen figured out that 'Tian-Lei' (Ken & Kelly)'s mysterious dinner party was not a wedding party. It was most likely a party where they shared their love with their friends, or an engagement party.

Cindy expressed that the ring was specially designed for Kelly: "Two years ago, Kelly showed me a 3 carat droplet-shaped cut and asked me to help redesign it. Two years later I didn't have any inspiration until recently." Cindy used butterflies as the main theme for the ring, pairing the 3 carat diamond with sapphires to make a butterfly's body. The lines for it's wings were smooth and vivid, inlaid with sapphires and others. The butterfly can swivel all 360 degrees, and the handiwork was done meticulously. She said: "I designed it this way because I feel Kelly is too honest and slow-witted. I hope that she can become more lively and carefree." When asked if it was an engagement ring, she hesitated fora while replying: "Erm... It is a belated birthday present. Last year when it was her birthday, she was in Beijing filming a movie, hence I couldn't give it to her." How can a birthday present be so expensive? Cindy replied: "Friendship has no price to it!"

Wang Yu Wen and Kelly Lin have been good friends for many years. These two days, she saw the marriage reports of 'Tian-Lei' in Apple Daily, and she immediately called to protest, asking why she wasn't invited. On the phone, Kelly explained: "No it's not like this... It's only because there was a big holiday, hence I invited my friends for dinner." Only that she asked her friends to join her in Tokyo for her meal - way too much trouble. It is known that the guests were only asked: "Are you free on the 17th? Come to Tokyo for a meal." Even the dining location was kept a secret: "When you reach Tokyo, then you will know." On the other hand, Kelly's parents were still in America, if it really was her wedding, they would attend it. However, the fact that 'Tian-Lei' used this gathering to 'share their happiness and love' with their friends should be true.
