According to reports from Taiwan's Apple Daily, did Kelly Lin (林熙蕾) have a wedding party in Tokyo for her and Ken Zhu (朱孝天) yesterday night? Most of the people invited kept their mouth shut, but her good friend, jewellery designer Cindy brought a 3 carat butterfly diamond ring with her to Tokyo, as a gift to Kelly. It is rumoured that it was an engagement ring. One of Kelly's best friends, Wang Yu Wen (王渝文) called Kelly in Japan and asked: "Why didn't you invite me to your wedding? If you dare to not invite me, I'll be angry!" To this matter, Yu Wen figured out that 'Tian-Lei' (Ken & Kelly)'s mysterious dinner party was not a wedding party. It was most likely a party where they shared their love with their friends, or an engagement party.

Cindy expressed that the ring was specially designed for Kelly: "Two years ago, Kelly showed me a 3 carat droplet-shaped cut and asked me to help redesign it. Two years later I didn't have any inspiration until recently." Cindy used butterflies as the main theme for the ring, pairing the 3 carat diamond with sapphires to make a butterfly's body. The lines for it's wings were smooth and vivid, inlaid with sapphires and others. The butterfly can swivel all 360 degrees, and the handiwork was done meticulously. She said: "I designed it this way because I feel Kelly is too honest and slow-witted. I hope that she can become more lively and carefree." When asked if it was an engagement ring, she hesitated fora while replying: "Erm... It is a belated birthday present. Last year when it was her birthday, she was in Beijing filming a movie, hence I couldn't give it to her." How can a birthday present be so expensive? Cindy replied: "Friendship has no price to it!"

Wang Yu Wen and Kelly Lin have been good friends for many years. These two days, she saw the marriage reports of 'Tian-Lei' in Apple Daily, and she immediately called to protest, asking why she wasn't invited. On the phone, Kelly explained: "No it's not like this... It's only because there was a big holiday, hence I invited my friends for dinner." Only that she asked her friends to join her in Tokyo for her meal - way too much trouble. It is known that the guests were only asked: "Are you free on the 17th? Come to Tokyo for a meal." Even the dining location was kept a secret: "When you reach Tokyo, then you will know." On the other hand, Kelly's parents were still in America, if it really was her wedding, they would attend it. However, the fact that 'Tian-Lei' used this gathering to 'share their happiness and love' with their friends should be true.
